Description
While playing in an abandoned garden 12 year old Polly and her pretend friend Felix meet a pair of oddly dressed adults. Polly knows she shouldn't talk to strangers but this unusual pair tells her that they have come to her for help. At first she decides to forget about them until a talking tree changes her mind. One afternoon she hears one of the strangers calling her name and she is drawn back to the garden. In the midst of unknown forces she and Felix are launched into an adventure which takes them to other places on other planets while trying to escape the evil Schnaxers that are trying to destroy her and control the galaxy. Polly soon discovers that she isn't ordinary girl, the musical instrument called the Bell has amazing powers and Felix is much more than a pretend friend.
About the Author
Carolyn Mora is a native of the San Francisco Bay area and grew up in Marin County. Most of her career has been spent in the travel industry representing cruise lines and tour companies. She currently resides in Sonoma County. This is her first novel.
